The Friday Mother’s Day celebrations started with a delicious breakfast organised, cooked and served by Mrs Egan. The attractive setting enhanced this celebration of special mothers and grandmothers in our lives.
After the class activities the school came together in the Multi-Purpose Room for a liturgy, prepared by Mrs Hogan.
The liturgy provided an opportunity for each of us to give thanks for our mothers and to remember the many things they do for us each day.
The morning concluded with the students sharing their gifts they had made for their mothers.
Thank you to the families for visiting and Mrs Hogan, Mrs Egan, Miss McEvoy and Miss Varley for your efforts in making this a very joyous way to begin Mother’s Day celebrations.
I hope each mother had a very special day on Sunday with your children. Anne
