Congratulations to these students on being environmental champions. Each of them had a lunchbox with NO throw away packaging. There were no wrappers and no cling wrap to be found in any of these students' lunchboxes during a 'spot check' performed during the week. They are embracing the "Nude Food" concept of having food without excess packaging. This reduces the amount of 'stuff' that needs to go in bins to be sent to landfill. Durable, reusable containers are a great way to bring food, as they may last from kinder through to high school and beyond, providing long term cost savings and environmental benefits.
