catholic education week 2018

Catholic Education Week:
 Friday, May 18th – Friday May 25th
‘Come and See’
Throughout the last week the school community have been celebrating Catholic Education. This commenced with a very enjoyable visit by our Grandparents and Special Friends. The visitors participated in a liturgy and class room activities. The morning concluded with a delicious morning tea organised by the Parents and Friends. Many thanks to the families for their contributions.
Yesterday, students and staff from St. Joseph’s Charlton and St. Patrick’s St. Arnaud visited St. Mary’s to celebrate our three great Catholic Schools. The day commenced with Fr Eugene and Fr Peter celebrating Mass in the church, followed by morning tea.
Thank you to Mrs Hogan for her preparation of such an uplifting Mass which was the perfect way to start our Cluster Day.
At the completion of morning tea all students participated in Tabloid Sports, provided by Kaboom Kids. The music, dancing and activities were enjoyed by all students and staff.
After our group photo the students enjoyed a delicious barbecue.
The day was capped off with a play and a chance to make new friends.
